First Parish Truro 2017 Holiday Services
10am on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 23, 2017)
4pm on Christmas Eve (Sunday, December 24, 2017)
A Truro tradition is back!
Now that First Parish has completed its building renovations, we are able to once again hold our annual Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Eve worship services. We know that, for many, worshipping in the historic Truro Meeting House space with friends and family has been a special part of these holidays, and we are so pleased to once again offer the chance to build community memories in this way.
Our Thanksgiving Day service will be an hour-long worship service, starting at 10am. It will feature beautiful music and a special time for children.
The Christmas Eve candlelight service will begin at 4pm, just as the sun is setting, and will include a Christmas carol singalong, Moravian love feast (with pastry and coffee or cider), and a candlelit singing of “Silent Night.”
As always, our worship services are open to all people. We are an Open and Affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ, which means we fully welcome members of the LGBTQIA community, people of every human diversity, and folks from a range of faith traditions and backgrounds. Our building is wheelchair accessible, and parking is ample either in our lot or in the Town Hall lot nearby.
We look forward to seeing you this holiday season!
