Candlelight Sundown Services
If you are looking for a place of quiet, contemplative worship, please come to our summer Candlelight services at 7:30pm on the last Sunday of each summer month – By 7:30pm the summer sun is setting, and we will gather for approximately 35 minutes of music and readings, both sacred and secular in nature, all illuminated by candlelight. The service is meant to be a refreshing moment of spiritual connection for anyone, regardless of faith background. All are welcome.
Tour our Historic Building
Our Meeting House is a unique Cape Cod landmark and a favorite subject for artists and photographers. Our Paul Revere bell has welcomed the faithful for nearly two hundred years. This remarkable edifice, constructed in 1827 and now listed on the National Register of Historic places, is the oldest surviving church on the Outer Cape. Many historical figures of the Cape are interred in the adjacent Snows Cemetery, which is open and available for viewing in the daylight hours.
Tours of the Meeting House and Congregational and Snow Cemeteries – Wednesdays, July 5, Aug. 5, and Sept. 6 at 10 am. and on request after Sunday services.
Feel free to bring your camera. Children are welcome. We have a wheelchair accessible building and bathroom.
Tours are free, so all are welcome.
(If you would like to donate to the upkeep our building there will be an opportunity to make an optional free-will offering after the tour, or you may donate using PayPal on the “donate” page of this website.)
