Weddings at First Parish Truro
Are you considering getting married on the Outer Cape?
We are an “Open and Affirming” church, which means that all couples (gay, straight, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, previously divorced, etc.) are welcome to get married in our beautiful, historic sanctuary. We are a Christian congregation, but people of all faiths are likewise welcome to marry here.
Our ministers work with each couple to provide an intimate service that uniquely reflects the couples’ love and spiritual foundations. The ministers meet with you months beforehand to understand your vision for the ceremony, and work with you on language for the wedding liturgy and vows. The church can also be available for a wedding rehearsal beforehand, led by the ministers or a wedding planner of your choosing. If you prefer to use your own officiant, you may also be able to arrange for that.
