Building Preservation Celebration – 7/3/17
The Friends of the Truro Meeting House hosted a wonderful all-town celebration on July 3rd, 2017, to mark the occasion of the completion of renovations on our historic building, including the return of our Revere bell after its repair. The celebration program included acknowledgement of the many people whose dedication saw to these repairs, and commendations for excellent work to the builders, architects, town officials, and residents who made it all possible. Below is a gallery of the festivities, including a short video showing the ringing of the bell. Come visit our parish to see the renovations in-person and receive a tour of the historic site!

Applause for those who helped make the preservation possible.
Those people who were most involved with the preservation of the Meeting House received engraved bells, reminiscent of the Revere Bell our steeple welcomed back as part of the renovation.
There was a gathering on the grounds of the church afterward, with plenty of good food.
